Christian MORTINGER, Dr. iur., LL.M. (NYU), co-founder and managing director of Heinrich & Mortinger

After graduating from Vienna University School of Law and New York University and a stint in one of Vienna’s most prestigious law firms, Christian worked for over a decade at Shearman & Sterling in their New York, London and Munich offices, maintaining a broad based corporate practice in the area of structured finance and bank finance transactions.

Since founding Heinrich & Mortinger in 2007, Christian has been assisting clients in connection with Refinancing and Restructuring.  He has significant experience with institutional investors, underwriters, lenders and borrowers in respect of a variety of asset-based financings, leveraged financings, lease financings for all types of assets, secured debt offerings, derivative transactions, securitizations and various tax-advantaged transactions.
